We are looking for a creative and hands-on Content Creator & Video Editor to support multiple brands under one parent company. This role will be responsible for developing, filming, editing, and publishing engaging content across a variety of digital and social platforms.

You will work closely with brand leaders and internal stakeholders to understand creative briefs, campaign objectives, and messaging, while also bringing forward your own content ideas and concepts. This is a role for someone who understands what performs well on social media and can adapt content to suit different brands, audiences, and platforms.

This is a 6-month contract that will work hybrid on-site in Burnaby, BC, requiring four days per week on-site. Occasional travel throughout the Lower Mainland will also be required to capture content at different locations.

What You’ll Do:

• Create original photo and video content for multiple brands
• Film, edit, and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital channels
• Create platform-specific content including Reels, TikToks, short-form video, stories, social posts, and other digital assets
• Travel occasionally to locations throughout the Lower Mainland to capture photo and video content
• Work with stakeholders to understand creative briefs, campaign goals, target audiences, and brand messaging
• Develop original content concepts in collaboration with brand leaders and internal stakeholders
• Take content from initial concept through filming, editing, revisions, and final delivery
• Adapt creative approaches and editing styles for different brands and social platforms
• Manage multiple content requests and projects simultaneously
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative output
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, emerging formats, and content best practices

What We’re Looking For:

• Must have professional experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms
• Strong understanding of how content, formats, audiences, and trends differ across social platforms
• Previous experience in content creation, videography, social media, video production, or a similar creative role
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Experience filming high-quality social and digital content
• Strong creative instincts with the ability to develop concepts independently
• Ability to interpret a creative brief and translate it into engaging visual content
• Comfortable working with multiple brands and stakeholders at the same time
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Portfolio or examples of previous social media, video, and content creation work
• Valid driver’s licence for occasional travel throughout the Lower Mainland (if successful applicants do not have access to a vehical, a car share membership will be provided)
