One of our major Banking clients is looking for a Change Management Consultant (Big4 exp., Risk, Capital Markets)
Length: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full time employment
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) – 2 days in office (Wednesday & Friday)
Hours of Operation: 9 am – 5 pm
Line of Business: Enterprise Risk
ROLE MANDATE:
Establishing Central Change Management Office. Create materials and drive adoption of materials and seamless transition - create documents, and artifacts.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (including but are not limited to):
• Act as the change management lead for a high-visibility/high-priority initiative, including developing change strategies, plans, and activities that drive adoption of change and benefits realization based on business needs
• Deliver all required change management artifacts inclusive of ownership and oversight of integrated partnerships and plans
• Drive leadership alignment of required transition activities
• Partner with the internal communications team to convey information with compelling business context and advice
• Identify and lead resistance management efforts
• Own the execution of all change-related activities
• Identify, escalate, track risks & issues to change and people readiness
• Assess data driven change sentiment and deliver on appropriate action plans
• Facilitate a smooth transition into steady state
• Developing strategy and plan - change documents, Playbook
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
• Consulting background - 3+
• 3+ years of change management related experience, with recent consulting background (Big4, Accenture, etc.)
• Diverse change management experience (not narrowly focused on technology change or post-M&A change)
• Ability to negotiate and influence
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively in both oral and written form
• Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, succeed in a team and work independently
• Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong communications background - PowerPoint, visual Aids, Microsoft Office, Sharepoint
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
• Previous risk experience – strongly considered
• Banking experience – financial services – Capital markets exposure
SOFT SKILLS:
• Ability to communicate at the high level
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
• 2 – 3 rounds
• 1st round – 1 hour via MS Team – business case/technical – with HM – case will be sent beforehand
• 2nd round – executives - MS Teams
• Potential 3rd round
