We are looking for an experienced Business Applications (EAM) Supervisor to lead the delivery and ongoing support of enterprise asset management solutions for a client in Hamilton, Ontario. This role combines technical leadership, application oversight, and team management to ensure business systems remain reliable, effective, and aligned with operational needs. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in enterprise applications, systems development, and stakeholder communication within complex service environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise asset management applications to meet operational and service delivery requirements.

• Supervise technical staff, including developers and application support team members, while guiding priorities, performance, and day-to-day execution.

• Oversee systems analysis, solution design, development activities, testing, and implementation across the full application lifecycle.

• Work closely with business partners to translate operational needs into practical technical solutions, specifications, and system enhancements.

• Coordinate application maintenance, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis for complex business and technology challenges.

• Support integration and reporting needs involving relational databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise reporting tools.

• Establish and monitor quality assurance practices, including the development and execution of unit testing approaches and scripts.

• Maintain application standards, documentation, and processes that support stable, secure, and effective enterprise technology services.

• University degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Extensive progressive experience implementing and supporting enterprise technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on enterprise asset management platforms.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in systems analysis, application design, and software development.
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams responsible for development and application support.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and associated support practices.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, maintenance management software, cloud environments such as Azure and AWS, and reporting tools including Crystal Reports.
• Ability to interpret functional and technical requirements and translate them into application logic, code, and effective system solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to address complex technical and business issues.
