We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a team in Toronto, Ontario on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical partners to define needs, improve operational processes, and support the delivery of effective solutions. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys translating complex business challenges into clear requirements and contributing to meaningful, measurable improvements.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams to gather business needs and shape solutions that support organizational goals.
• Document and maintain requirements throughout the project lifecycle by preparing process maps, user stories, business documents, and test-related materials.
• Lead or support discovery sessions, working meetings, and gap assessments to clarify scope, identify issues, and keep initiatives moving forward.
• Work with vendors, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to help configure systems in line with approved requirements and future-state processes.
• Examine existing workflows, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and contribute to the rollout of improved practices using structured delivery methods.
• Assist with testing activities by preparing plans, scripts, and defect tracking records, while helping coordinate issue resolution through to completion.
• Use data analysis to support recommendations, monitor outcomes, and establish performance indicators that measure the value of implemented solutions.
• Assess the operational impact of proposed changes across business areas and support the development of practical mitigation and adoption plans.
• Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in business analysis within complex or fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present detailed information clearly to varied audiences.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Planner, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, CRM platforms, and business requirements documentation practices is considered an asset.
• Experience supporting software implementation projects or working within the real estate sector is an asset.
