Robert Half is partnering with a client that's looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their Finance team. This is a full-time/permanent role on site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and processing of the invoicing, ensuring all billing statements are completed on a quarterly basis.

• Handle full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger updates, and journal entries.

• Prepare and issue monthly invoices for government vehicle usage.

• Manage invoicing for government shipments, including air and other transportation methods.

• Administer claims related to long-distance and local transactions, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.

• Process government invoicing for LTS, Air, and SEA shipments

• Carry out revenue distribution tasks and ensure funds are allocated correctly.

• Month end and year end tasks.

• Provide support for diverse accounting activities and assist with day-to-day financial operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Van Lines is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented work.

• Proficiency in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

• Experience with account reconciliation and bank statement balancing.

• Strong skills in posting journal entries and maintaining general ledgers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel is needed.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online is mandatory.

• Ability to perform month-end close procedures efficiently.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
