Our client is looking for a Billing Analyst to join their team in Acheson, Alberta in an in-office capacity. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys working closely with operations, finance, and customers to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices, credits, and supporting billing documentation using Dynamics 365 and customer portals
• Review pricing, billing records, and inventory information to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to confirm purchase orders, quotes, and work orders are complete and accurate
• Validate work order processing and ensure records are finalized prior to invoicing
• Distribute invoice packages and maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation
• Support finance and credit teams with accruals, lien documentation, and billing-related investigations
• Maintain customer billing profiles, invoicing requirements, and portal information
• Monitor billing activities, communicate outstanding issues, and recommend process improvements
• Manage assigned tasks within established timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assist with additional operational and administrative projects as required

Requirements:

• 2+ years of billing, invoicing, or related finance support experience
• Experience working in a high-volume environment with strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Business Central)
• Familiarity with customer billing portals and ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms is an asset
• Ability to investigate and resolve pricing, inventory, and billing discrepancies
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate digital records and documentation in a structured office environment
