Our client, a respected and growing law firm in Toronto, is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join their collaborative team. This position is ideal for a legal professional who is eager to make meaningful contributions to a diverse range of files and deliver high-quality client service in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and advance files in a variety of practice areas, which may include civil litigation, corporate/commercial law, real estate, or estates.
• Conduct legal research, draft correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents with accuracy and precision.
• Represent clients at meetings, negotiations, mediations, and in court or tribunal proceedings as required.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and maintain strong, professional relationships.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external parties.
• Stay up to date on legal developments affecting the relevant practice areas and support business development initiatives.
• Uphold the firm’s values of professionalism, integrity, and exceptional client service.

• Minimum of two years of experience practicing employment law.
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and workplace investigation processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience in client advocacy and representation during negotiations or legal proceedings.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
