Our expectationsReporting to the IT Manager, IT Supply Chain, the Analyst developer IT is part of the Apps Support team deserving all the business areas specific to the supply chain, namely planning, distribution, and transport. Its main mandate is to resolve incidents blocking business processes and to investigate the cause of these problems. It offers the best solutions. He monitors the development and the various test phases. As part of the Agile working model, the Functional IT Analyst works closely with the Product Manager to assure right priorities on required adjustments.
Your role- Investigate and propose temporary and/or long-term solutions on production issues.
- Communicate with our Apps users of the Supply Chain to understand and reproduce production issues.
- Document issues and create knowledge base (KB)
- Guide the developers of the support team in the investigations and in-depth tests Provide recommendations considering business needs, architecture, existing applications, costs, and their impact on processes.
- Participate in the assessment of the time required for development
- Assist programmers during the implementation phase
- Participate in the execution of functional and integrated tests and support acceptance tests
- Be responsible for starting the production of applications
- Maintain application procedures and documentation
- Ensure follow-up during the post-implantation period
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in the development of application systems, including 4 years of experience in analysis.
- Experience in issue resolution.
- Experience in Supply Chain execution and retail systems
- Experience with BlueYonder WMS systems (an asset)
- Self-taught approach to learning new systems
- Analysis and synthesis skills
- Ability to simplify and communicate knowledge
- Ability to easily adapt to changes
- Listening skills
- Sense of organization and service, and concern for quality
- Team spirit and leadership
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Java, and Python
- Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite tools
- Ability to work in Agile mode (JIRA an asset)
