Description
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and recommend pricing adjustments to ensure products and store zones align with the organization's pricing strategy.
• Monitor sales performance and margin metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and maximize profitability.
• Analyze competitive pricing indices to confirm alignment with strategic goals and recommend retail price changes as needed.
• Coordinate pricing zone assignments for new stores and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Develop weekly flyer pricing strategies and corporate brand shielding initiatives to boost sales and enhance margin performance.
• Investigate store and customer pricing inquiries, providing timely resolutions and adjustments where necessary.
• Create comprehensive category retail reviews, analyzing product relationships and market trends to support strategic pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as category managers, regional directors, and district managers to address pricing issues and drive initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver store-level communication materials to guide pricing practices and address operational needs.
• Conduct periodic store audits, recommending and executing price changes based on competitive retail observations.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage tasks and projects effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise diplomatically with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
• Experience with query-writing tools such as Power Query or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, retail operations, and merchandising processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and act on opportunities to improve sales and margin performance.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and regions to achieve organizational goals.
