Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a growing Oil & Gas Services organization in Calgary, Alberta on a Long-term Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts receivable and cash application experience who enjoys investigating discrepancies, resolving outstanding items, and improving data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and resolve unapplied cash by researching transactions and accurately applying payments.

• Manage cash application, receipt matching, account reconciliations, and other accounts receivable activities.

• Investigate payment discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve outstanding items.

• Analyze ERP data and reports to validate balances and support receivables processes.

• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues, escalating concerns when necessary.

• Support data cleanup and validation efforts ahead of system migrations or process changes.

• Maintain accurate records while working across both manual and automated workflows.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve account issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of accounts receivable experience, including cash application, reconciliations, and payment processing.

• Strong understanding of the full AR cycle and receivables management.

• Experience working with ERP systems in a high-volume environment.

• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze and troubleshoot financial data.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.

• Effective communication skills and experience working with internal stakeholders.

• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
