Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate has practical AP experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while helping maintain accurate and well-organized financial records across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Complete credit card reconciliations and resolve outstanding items with internal teams.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and apply appropriate coding.
• Assist with expense reconciliations, including petty cash, prepaid accounts, and gift cards.
• Support month-end activities, including accrual tracking and documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and timely data entry.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve coding and reconciliation issues proactively.

• 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or a similar finance support role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting systems.
• Skilled in credit card and vendor account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of invoice coding, entry, and AP processes.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
