Robert Half is partnering with a valued client to find an experienced Accounting Manager / Supervisor to lead key accounting operations and support the financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to managing month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Supervise daily activities of accounting staff and provide coaching and development
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Manage account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and operational improvements
• Assist with system enhancements and process optimization initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Prior experience in a manager or supervisor-level accounting role preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
