    Working with a leading automotive dealership in the Fraser Valley, we have partnered to assist them in growing their finance team. They have an immediate opening for an Accounting / Administrative Clerk to augment the work of their highly tenured accounting team.




    Your prior 'dealership' experience will benefit your interest in pursuing this role. This is a full-time / permanent position situated in the newly remodeled professional offices.


    Job Description:
    - Analyze financial transactions and accounts to determine accuracy and completeness of entries
    - Process retail and wholesale deals
    - Register vehicle sales and extended warranty purchases
    - Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
    - Set up employee profiles in various systems.
    - Develop an in-depth working knowledge of all operational and accounting computer software/equipment systems that impact the accounting and financial reporting processes
    - Verification and processing of time sheets
    - Prepare various other monthly account reconciliations
    - Other special projects, reports, tasks, and financial assessments
    - Assist with the accounting of inventory categories and cleaning of schedules
    - Prepare schedules for part time / casual staff
    - Submit WorkSafe BC claims, manage company group benefits program.



    Requirements:
    - Two years of experience in the automotive accounting industry, PBS experience a benefit
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a high level of proficiency in Excel
    - Must possess strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
    - Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level accountability
    - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    - Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
