Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Assistant on behalf of our client, a well-established organization looking to add a dependable and detail-oriented professional to its accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts payable expertise, solid systems knowledge, and the ability to manage day-to-day transactional accounting responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure proper coding and approvals
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries professionally
• Assist with check runs, EFT/wire processing, and payment reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting
• Enter and maintain accounting data within Yardi
• Help with general accounting and administrative support as needed
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience
• Hands-on experience with Yardi
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
