Description
Responsibilities:
• Complete month-end account and bank reconciliations to help ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Enter and maintain financial data in accounting systems with a high degree of precision and consistency.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements by organizing records and validating account balances.
• Process invoices and assist with accounts payable activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Contribute to payroll-related accounting tasks and help verify supporting documentation where required.
• Use Excel and Salesforce to track, analyze, and update financial information for reporting purposes.
• Work with accounting and ERP platforms to manage daily transactional activity and maintain complete records.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a detail-focused business environment.
• Strong background in reconciliations, including monthly bank and account balancing activities.
• Practical experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial data entry.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, invoicing, payroll support, and core accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing data, reviewing transactions, and preparing reports.
• Experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Concur, ADP, or comparable financial systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Ontario, four days per week for approximately 32 to 36 hours from Monday to Thursday.
