Delta is a city in the Greater Vancouver Regional District also locally called Metro Vancouver in the province of British Columbia. Mainly rural, it is located on the south bank of the mouth of the Fraser in the Lower Mainland region.
The city comprises three distinct communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta.
With a population of 108,000, it is the 52nd most populous city in the country.
