Robert Half is partnering with a client in the public accounting space looking to add to their team. This is a full-time/permanent position on site.

Responsibilities:

-Full cycle accounting

-Coordinate with staff accountants to prepare monthly and quarterly analysis

-Review general ledger accounts activities to ensure account accuracy of financial statements

-Taking an active role in the planning of engagements

-Dealing with financial statements and engagement issues with appropriate managers

-Manage engagements from start to completion

-Tax planning on corporate engagements

-Prepare corporate tax returns

-Gain insight into the scope of services provided by the company.


Qualifications:

-Must have 2+ years in public accounting

-Pursuing Professional Accounting Designation is a strong asset

-An Accounting/Finance Degree or in a related field

-Experience in Caseware, Taxprep, QB/QBO

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

-Strong attention to detail and organized

-Accountable and dependable

-Great attention to detail
