This is a short term contract working remotely. Our client in the Financial Services industry is looking for a SOX testing Auditor. You will be responsible for assessing, testing, and evaluating internal controls to ensure they are designed and operating effectively. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of internal controls related to financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
- Testing non-IT SOX controls, such as reconciliations, financial disclosures, and management review controls
- Document test procedures, results, and any identified deficiencies in internal control processes.




- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or internal controls testing, with a strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements
- Deep understanding of internal controls, financial reporting processes, and SOX regulations. Familiarity with auditing standards and practices is highly desirable.
- Experience within Banking or other financial institution preferred
- Hands on experience in SOX testing
