Position: Payroll and Human Resources Technician
Location: Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, flexible 40 hours

Benefits offered:


- Full-time permanent position, day shift, Monday to Friday, flexible 40 hours per week
- Annual salary between $60,000 and $70,000, depending on experience
- 4 weeks of vacation per year (construction holidays)
- 4 floating holidays
- Possible telecommuting one day per week, on Thursdays

Your responsibilities:


- Process weekly payroll, verify time sheets, and pay according to the CCQ agreement
- Produce payroll reports for management
- Compile worker hours on job sites, assign them to the correct projects
- Create employee records
- Produce employment statements
- Compile data on the CCQ site, produce reports, keep information up to date
- Process RRSP and DPSP contributions
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, vacation, and benefits
- Administer employee benefits
- Participate in job postings
- Participate in human resources projects
Your requirements:
- Hold relevant training for the position
- Experience in payroll processing in the construction industry is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, primarily Excel
- Proficiency in Maestro is a strong asset
- Experience in human resources is an asset; the employer can provide training!
