- Lead and oversee all aspects of joint venture audits, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Communicate extensively with Operated and Non-Operated JV Partners as well as Midstream partners, facilitating both inbound and outbound audit requests.
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit strategies, plans, and schedules, leveraging extensive industry experience and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline audit processes and optimize outcomes.
- Analyze audit findings and provide strategic recommendations to management for improving operational efficiency and mitigating risks.
- Serve as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for joint venture partners, fostering strong relationships and facilitating open communication channels.


- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Joint Venture and/or Operations Accounting experience within the Upstream Oil and Gas industry is a must, with a deep understanding of joint venture structures and dynamics.
- Expert knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the oil and gas sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Oil and Gas accounting software including QByte FM, AFE Navigator, Petrinex, etc. 
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a CPA designation would be an asset
