- Medical radiologic technology/science - radiation therapist
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology/technician
Work setting- Hospital/medical facility or clinic
Tasks- Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Explain procedures, position patient and equipment and apply radiation protection measures
- Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
- Record and process patient data
- Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination
- Train and supervise students and other staff
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses - Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
