Profile: Our client is the manufacturer of specialized protective eyewear and is looking for a marketing coordinator to work on a 14-month contract. Your role, as part of the marketing team, will be focused on event planning and coordination, managing a budget and managing the inventory of our marketing material. This job will provide you with variety in a fast-paced environment. The successful person has great people skills and a strong attention to detail. This is a b2b marketing role.
Territory: Canada
Workplace: Montreal hybrid (2 days at office and 3 days home office)
Products/Services: Protective eyewear
Salary: Base $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience
Commissions/Bonus: N/A

Manage events such as trade shows
Book flights and hotels for both clients and staff
Coordinate the arrival of our material to trade-show location
Build a schedule which includes trade show days and dinner reservations
Manage the budget for trade shows and marketing material
Follow up on billing and where they fit into the budget
Source ideas for gifts and giveaways
Anticipate needs of marketing materials and order in advance
Manage the receipt of marketing materials
Distribute to sales team
Make suggestions on how to automate things, where you see fit

- Essential - 1 year experience in a similar role
