Salary: $55,000 to $58,000 (based on experience)

Our client in the automotive industry is on the hunt for a Junior Payroll Technician to join their team.
Join a long-standing company and leading distributor and marketer of automotive parts, serving locations across Eastern Canada. Collaborate with both the paymaster and HR teams, overseeing payroll functions and providing employee support.
Main Requirements:
- College diploma or certificate in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position or relevant field
- Fluently bilingual required for communications outside of Quebec
- Organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the payroll master to perform all necessary payroll operations
- Process, and verify the complete payroll cycle
- Process periodic remittances to third parties
- Provide customer service to employees for all questions related to their compensation
- Collaborate with the HR team to be responsible for transactional activities
- Maintain HR records
- Perform any other required tasks
