Description
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- or equivalent experience
Work setting- Various locations
Tasks- Inspect operation of instruments and systems
- Repair and adjust system components
- Complete test and maintenance reports
- Remove and replace defective parts
- Calibrate components and instruments
- Determine testing and maintenance procedures
- Install new measuring instruments
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work
- Read and interpret blueprints
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses - Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification
- Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal)
Transportation/travel information- Valid driver's licence
