Our Ottawa area client is currently looking for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team.

This is a 6-month engagement with a possibility of further extension offering a Hybrid work model (3 days a week in office).




The Manager of FP& A will be responsible for:

-Providing financial support to the Chief Commercial Officer and Business Planning and Marketing teams

-Providing financial support to evaluate new and existing products

-Reviewing deals to ensure viability and sustainability

-Assisting the product development team with new product financial reviews

-Supplying inputs to support long-term Sales & Marketing plans

-Acting as back up for the Business Unit Manager

-Providing day-to-day advice and financial analysis as required

-Analyzing revenue variances and KPIs

-Providing support to update long-term financial plan, budget and other forecasting analyses

-Other duties as required





The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

-A Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other field of study with a minimum 10 years of industry experience

-CPA designation or similar qualification

-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

-Experienced in Financial Modelling

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong analytical and modelling skills

-Experience with Adaptive Insights and Workday are strong assets
