    Your daily role

    The position holder is responsible for the development and implementation of investment projects and for supervising the evolution and realization of each project. The factory engineer will have to identify, participate in and lead projects aimed at the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and the improvement potential of the different factories.


    - Define the scope of projects, objectives and expected accomplishments to support functional objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders;
    - Plans, executes and completes projects, in accordance with strict deadlines, within budget and based on reliable technical solutions;
    - Is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of major investment projects and must develop, analyze and evaluate various investment requests;
    - Develops transformation processes to improve product efficiency, operational performance and add value to the organization;
    - Carries out technical and financial monitoring of the projects entrusted to him, coordinates implementation, prepares quotes, plans and submissions and awards contracts for the division's major projects;
    - Designs, studies and develops investment requests;
    - Prepare all technical documentation following the completion of projects;
    - Support the maintenance team to resolve equipment maintenance problems
    - Supports continuous improvement, OHS and CSR (energy and water) initiatives;

    Your profile

    - Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, food engineering or other relevant discipline;
    - 5 years of relevant experience in project management in manufacturing operations (food field is an asset);
    - Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Lean, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen and SMED;
    - Be a member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);
    - Bilingualism (French/English);
