Mission
WHAT TO EXPECT 

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent's main mandate will be to manage all activities related to the development, design and commissioning of new equipment. He/she will be responsible for the equipment engineering team and the maintenance team. 

His/her main responsibilities are : 




Participate and collaborate as a member of the subsidiary's management committee in the development, implementation and monitoring of the strategic plan.
Act as an ambassador by reflecting and promoting the values of the Soucy Group
Manage the equipment engineering and maintenance team
Train, motivate and evaluate team members on an ongoing basis in order to maintain an optimal level of commitment and performance, and act as a coach in the skills development process of team members.
Work closely with operations and product development teams to understand their needs and propose innovative solutions.
Set the highest standards in the development of new equipment in terms of operational efficiency, advanced technologies, process control and safety.
Implement strategies to improve all existing production equipment
Define major strategies for the implementation, selection and deployment of automation and robotization projects.
Profile
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related field, and be a member of the OIQ
Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar position
Strong experience in personnel management
Mobilizing leadership, strong communication skills
