Description
Position: Corporate Services Clerk
Location: Ottawa (Onsite)
Job Type: 2 Month Contract with high chances of extension
Joining our team as a Corporate Services Clerk means contributing significantly to our organization's success. Your role involves essential clerical tasks and providing valuable office support within the Corporate Services department.
What you will do:
- Assist with filing and organization of storage room
- Review and verify scanned documents, Scanning projects for multiple departments (documents and photos)
- Reconcile supplier invoices and assist in payment approval
- Provide backup support to reception during colleague absences
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks
- Process undeliverable mail and update member information
- Coordinate meeting room reservations and manage catering requests
- Assist with miscellaneous clerical duties for corporate services and facilities department as required
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate recipients or departments
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for pickup or delivery, including postage, labelling, and packaging as needed
The experience you have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual language skills. (Fluent in English, verbal conversational level French)
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
- Speed and accuracy with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and courteous interaction with various stakeholders
- Need to have good mobility to move around from floor to floor
- Need to have good attention to detail
- Understanding of the importance of handling highly confidential documents
- Strong alpha-numeric keyboarding skills
