    Position: Compensation Advisor (Municipal Level)
    Location: Montréal
    Salary: Between $87,000 and $110,000 depending on experience

    We are searching for a Compensation Advisor for a position at the municipal level.
    Benefits:

    - Life, disability, medical and dental insurance (not glasses)
    - Pension plan after 700 hours worked (9% from the employer and 9% from the employee)
    - $250 per year for physical activity
    - Employee assistance program (12 hours of free consultation)
    - 3 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick leave and 39 mobile hours (a little over one week)
    - The 2 weeks of sick leave can be transferred the following year as vacation or to RRSP
    - Paid holidays (holidays, etc.)
    - 35-hour week (2 days remote and 3 days in office)

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or a related field
    - 3 to 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits
    - Experience with collective agreements and unions (an asset)
    Responsibilities :

    - Manage a team of 2 payroll officers
    - Produce HR reports and analyses
    - Liaise with employees, unions and government agencies
    - Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies
    - Collaborate with the supervisor to define the orientations, objectives, policies and priorities of the activities
    - Plan, organize, direct and control activities related to compensation, benefits and payroll
    - Develop and coordinate the production of management information for compensation reporting
    - Supervise the design, development and implementation of new HR processes
    - Ensure compliance with laws, collective agreements and other directives
    - Coordinate the work of employees for efficient and timely payroll
    - Manage reports required by government agencies and others
    - Develop policies and procedures for compensation and benefits management
    - Ensure the processing and compliance of tax and social security slips
    - Analyze payroll data and produce reports
    - Make and/or approve changes to the payroll system
    - Establish eligibility dates for insurance and retirement
