Description
Brandt is currently seeking a Branch Administrator for our Laval Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for maintaining branch organization on both the front end and back end to contribute to efficient operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as liaison and first point of contact for internal and external customers
- Coordinate, order, and receive office goods and supplies, maintenance of copiers, scanners, and printer
- Prepare routine correspondence, screen, and process incoming mail
- Maintain accurate records for the facility by outlining procedures for retention, distribution, and retrieval of keys and alarm codes (if applicable) for new, departing, and transferring employees
- Coordinate, type, sort, and file documentation
- Cleaning and organizing the yard
- Some inventory maintenance
- Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
- Highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Office administration experience is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs is essential
- Team player with good intuition and strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work completed
- Adaptable and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual with exceptional customer service and prioritization skills
- Strong business English skills for creating correspondence, presentations, documents, and reports
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy-duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
- Forklift experience and heavy-duty parts handling an asset
- Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
- Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
