Description
Position: Accounting Analyst
Location: Saint-Laurent, Montreal (3 days office/2 days remote)
Salary: 75,000- 80,000 (Based on experience)
Benefits: 3 weeks of vacation, 5 sick days, paid benefits, social committee activities, product discounts, etc.
We're in search of a highly motivated Accounting Analyst ready to join our client's team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you'll be part of a pioneering company with over 60 years of experience in the luxury retail industry. Here, you'll have the chance to contribute to special accounting projects and collaborate with industry experts in a dynamic work environment. Don't miss out – apply now!
We would love to meet:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Fluently bilingual to communicate with the team outside of Quebec
Main Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliation and treasury related tasks
- Monthly reconciliation of sales
- Preparation of monthly tax remittances
- Opening and maintaining letters of credit
- Month-end accruals
- Month-end journal entries
- Credit card charges reconciliations
- Participating in the year-end audit, updating schedules, and assisting with file preparation
- Supporting Accounts Payable team when required for credit and reconciliation and expense reports
