Senior Financial Analyst-FP & A

Responsibilities:
• Lead the annual planning cycle by coordinating budgets, periodic forecasts, and longer-term financial outlooks that reflect organizational priorities.
• Develop and refine financial models that assess business performance, test scenarios, and support strategic and operational decisions.
• Produce regular financial reports, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Work closely with department leaders to gather assumptions, validate inputs, and improve the accuracy of planning and forecasting activities.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using financial and analytical tools to uncover insights that support planning and performance management.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across areas such as operations, sales, and engineering to address financial questions and planning needs.
• Identify and implement improvements to FP& A processes, reporting methods, and data workflows to increase efficiency and clarity.
• Present financial findings and the business rationale behind key initiatives in a clear, concise manner for senior decision-makers.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for accuracy and timeliness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or relevant designation would be considered an asset.
• At least 3 years of experience in FP& A, financial analysis, financial modelling, transaction advisory, banking, or a comparable finance function.
• Strong capability in building financial models and working with spreadsheet-based analysis and planning tools.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting practices, forecasting methods, and core performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, identify meaningful trends, and turn analysis into practical recommendations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to senior leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and a commitment to producing accurate reports and analyses.
• Ability to work successfully in a remote or hybrid setting while collaborating with teams across the organization.
