We are looking for a Zoura Systems Administrator to join our team on a Contract basis in Etobicoke, Ontario. This position is focused on supporting a subscription billing environment, maintaining platform configuration, and ensuring reliable processing across invoicing, payments, and revenue-related workflows. The successful candidate will play a key role in issue resolution, system governance, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, operations, and technical teams.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily billing operations by reviewing scheduled processing, validating invoice output, identifying exceptions, and coordinating timely resolution before records are finalized or customers are affected.
• Manage Zuora platform setup, including product structures, pricing models, discounts, subscription rules, billing controls, workflow configuration, and invoice formatting while evaluating the impact of updates on connected financial processes.
• Investigate issues affecting customer orders, subscription activation, usage-based charges, invoice corrections, credit activity, payment exceptions, and collection-related processes to support accurate revenue flow.
• Analyze discrepancies and failures across integrated systems such as Salesforce, Zuora, middleware platforms, finance applications, and reporting feeds, and work with technical teams to implement durable fixes.
• Administer user access and security roles in accordance with approved controls, ensuring permissions align with least-privilege principles and established authorization practices.
• Coordinate change requests through structured intake and tracking processes, complete testing in non-production environments, obtain required reviews, and support controlled releases with rollback readiness and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Finance to improve reconciliation accuracy and strengthen data quality across billing and revenue records, while respecting functional and accounting approval boundaries.
• Support post-deployment stabilization activities by investigating operational issues, validating system behaviour, and helping maintain continuity in production environments.
• Significant hands-on experience administering Zuora Billing within a live subscription-based business environment, including catalog management, subscriptions, billing execution, invoicing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of Zuora Revenue, including revenue contract structures, performance obligations, allocation logic, recognition processes, and troubleshooting in a production setting.
• Knowledge of collections and dunning processes, including experience with Zuora Collections, would be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to trace end-to-end processing issues using system records, job outcomes, logs, exports, and integration diagnostics while handling financial data with care and accuracy.
• Experience working with Salesforce and finance-related downstream processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with integration, middleware, and data engineering teams.
• Solid discipline in change management, including requirements review, testing, regression validation, approvals, release documentation, and operational handoff.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Finance, commercial operations, engineering, and support teams while managing priorities during critical billing periods.
• Broad technical troubleshooting exposure across enterprise technologies such as cloud platforms, servers, backup tools, firewall environments, and infrastructure-related systems is considered beneficial.
