We are looking for a Training Specialist to support a short-term Contract assignment in Toronto, Ontario within the engineering sector. In this role, you will guide leaders through a focused leadership development program, combining structured instruction with engaging facilitation techniques. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can quickly absorb course content, lead in-person sessions with confidence, and help participants build the skills needed to train their own teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Review training materials in advance through virtual preparation sessions to ensure strong understanding of the program content and delivery approach.

• Lead on-site leadership training for management-level participants in an engaging, organized, and well-structured manner.

• Facilitate interactive learning activities, including discussions, exercises, and role-playing scenarios that reinforce key leadership concepts.

• Present course content clearly using instructor-led methods and visual materials such as slide presentations.

• Encourage participant involvement and adapt facilitation style to suit the needs and experience levels of the audience.

• Support leaders in developing the confidence and capability to cascade training to their respective teams.

• Maintain a high-quality learning environment by keeping sessions on schedule and aligned with training objectives.

• Facilitate both in-person and occasional virtual training sessions.

• Experience facilitating leadership, management, or professional development training.
• Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills.
• Comfortable leading interactive workshops and role-playing activities.
• Experience delivering train-the-trainer, leadership, coaching, or change management programs is highly preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn and deliver existing training content.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage audiences at various leadership levels.
• Available for on-site training in Toronto.
• CHRP, CPHR, Adult Education, Learning & Development, Coaching, or related certifications are considered assets.

• Availability to complete an on-site contract assignment in Toronto, Ontario for approximately two weeks.
