Our client is an organization delivering complex software and integrated systems to customers across North America and international markets. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage projects end-to-end within a structured PMO environment. This is a hands-on role focused on customer and stakeholder management, requirements, scope, financials, scheduling, risk, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Manage customer relationships and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own requirements gathering, validation, documentation, and change management.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, and resources, particularly within fixed-price projects.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, dashboards, and required project documentation.
• Follow established PMO stage-gate processes and ensure project artifacts are completed.
• Work closely with software development, engineering, and technical teams.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Lead primarily Waterfall projects while incorporating Agile practices where appropriate.
• Contribute to PMO process improvements, project reviews, and lessons learned.

• 7+ years of project management experience in a technical/software environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable certification.
• Strong experience managing external customers and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of requirements management, validation, scope control, and change management.
• Experience with fixed-price projects, financial forecasting, and project costing.
• Technical background with exposure to software development, IT infrastructure, engineering, or systems integration.
• Comfortable working within a formal PMO/stage-gate environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable being hands-on with project documentation and deliverables.
• Ability to travel approximately 20–25%, primarily to the US.
