Our client is looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports the organization's talent acquisition efforts by managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering with hiring leaders to attract and hire top talent. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruitment professional with strong relationship-building skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience while supporting a variety of hiring needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operations roles, from sourcing through onboarding.
• Build talent pipelines using job boards, social media, networking, and community outreach.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop recruitment strategies aligned with workforce needs.
• Create engaging job postings to attract qualified candidates for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and industry networks to support talent attraction.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, campus events, and other recruitment initiatives.
• Maintain an efficient hiring process that delivers a positive candidate experience.
• Keep applicant tracking system records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare recruitment metrics and reports to monitor hiring performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent recruiting experience.
• 5+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume environments.
• Manufacturing or industrial recruitment experience preferred.
• Proficient with sourcing tools, ATS platforms, job boards, and social media recruiting.
• Skilled in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through onboarding.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally as business needs require.
