Robert Half are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Coordinator to take ownership of recruitment efforts for a well established organization in downtown Edmonton. This position is suited to a detail-oriented recruitment specialist who can manage full-cycle recruitment, build strong relationships with hiring leaders, and bring practical ideas to improve how talent is identified and assessed. The successful candidate will combine strong day-to-day recruitment execution with a thoughtful, data-informed approach to process improvement, employer branding, and candidate experience.

Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment activities from intake through offer stage for a range of administrative and senior-level vacancies.
• Create and manage compelling job advertisements that attract candidates with relevant experience across appropriate channels.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, social media outreach, networking, and proactive talent mapping.
• Conduct resume reviews, pre-screen candidates, and coordinate structured interviews to assess fit and readiness.
• Partner closely with hiring leaders by providing guidance, interview support, and practical recruitment advice as they take a more active role in the recruitment process.
• Negotiate employment offers and support a smooth transition from selection to onboarding.
• Monitor recruitment performance indicators such as time to fill, cost per placement, and quality of placement, and use findings to strengthen recruitment effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to modernize manual recruitment practices through innovative methods, including the thoughtful use of technology and AI-enabled tools.
• Promote the organization’s employer brand to improve talent attraction while ensuring all recruitment activities align with employment legislation and internal policies.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proven ability to source candidates using job boards, social platforms, networking, and talent pipelines.
• Strong interviewing, pre-screening, and candidate assessment skills across high-volume and specialized hiring needs.
• Experience advising hiring managers and building trusted working relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
• Demonstrated ability to track recruitment metrics and translate data into process improvements.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment compliance practices; experience in a regulated healthcare setting is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies such as UKG Pro, ADP, CRM platforms, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and negotiation skills, with the confidence to work effectively across varied personalities and teams.
