We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join a Global organization in Aurora, Ontario. In this role, you will partner with leaders and employees across the business to strengthen people programs, support a positive workplace environment, and ensure human resources practices are carried out effectively. This position is well suited to an experienced HR specialist who can balance day-to-day employee support with broader program coordination in a fast-paced setting ideally having worked in a Global organization and within professional services space.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle by coordinating onboarding and departures, maintaining records, and ensuring a smooth experience for staff and managers.

• Support salary review and advancement processes by preparing recommendations, advising leaders, and helping maintain fair and consistent practices.

• Drive performance management activities, including goal-setting cycles, manager guidance, employee communications, and follow-up on completion timelines.

• Provide practical advice on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters while helping resolve issues effectively and consistently.

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders, coaching and guiding them through complex employee relations matters, performance discussions, organizational decisions, and the consistent application of HR policies and best practices.

• Maintain HR data and respond to system-related questions involving platforms such as Workday and Ceridian Dayforce, with a focus on accuracy and reporting quality.

• Work with partners across the organization to develop and roll out HR programs, internal initiatives, and employee engagement activities that strengthen workplace culture.

• Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of HR procedures to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.

• Assist with the preparation of reports, documentation, and insights that support HR planning and decision-making.

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline.

• An HR designation or progress toward one is considered an asset.

• At least 8 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, ideally within a large or complex organization.

• Hands-on experience using Workday and Ceridian Dayforce with the ability to answer leaders on their questions

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior leadership and confidently coach, influence, and guide leaders through sensitive and complex HR discussions.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Solid understanding of employment legislation and human resources compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze issues, and handle sensitive situations with sound judgment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the organization.
