Our client is looking for an experienced Sr. HR Generalist to join their team in Nisku, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day HR operations during a period of workforce activity and organizational change, with a focus on employee administration, onboarding, documentation, and recruitment support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, letters, status changes, and documentation.
• Support high-volume recruitment, labour staffing, and efficient hiring processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Provide payroll and benefits administration support.
• Address employee relations matters professionally while applying policies consistently.
• Partner with health and safety teams to support workplace requirements.
• Assist with HR initiatives, including business changes and merger/acquisition activities.

• Proven senior HR Generalist, Specialist, or Manager experience in a hands-on operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, employment standards, policies, and employee documentation.
• Experience supporting payroll, benefits, and HCM systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
• High-volume recruitment and onboarding experience, especially in labour or operations roles.
• Skilled in handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and HR support.
• Strong employee relations skills with sound judgment in resolving HR matters.
