We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join a services organization in Toronto, Ontario on a 12-month Contract. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented finance specialist who combines strong Sage Intacct expertise with advanced Excel skills and a practical approach to improving financial processes. You will help strengthen reporting, planning, and system usage while partnering with finance and operational teams to deliver efficient, sustainable solutions. The position is fully onsite in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

• Create and enhance Sage Intacct reports, dashboards, and financial outputs using available reporting tools to support timely decision-making.

• Develop reporting solutions across core finance functions, including purchasing, payables, receivables, banking, projects, the general ledger, and related operational areas.

• Build and streamline data import and export processes within Sage Intacct to improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency.

• Assess and refine system setup within Sage Intacct, including workflows, approval paths, user access, internal controls, and delegated financial authorities.

• Configure the project module to support contract tracking and align it with procurement and accounts payable activities.

• Prepare Excel-based models for budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance reviews, management reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.

• Establish practical finance processes for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that internal teams can maintain effectively over time.

• Produce clear process documentation, user instructions, and workflow guides to support knowledge transfer and consistent use of improved practices.

• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, project teams, and other stakeholders to gather business needs, address issues, and implement meaningful system and process enhancements.

• Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Financial Analyst or in a similar Sage Intacct-focused position.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Sage Intacct, including report development, system configuration, and module-level support.

• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create robust financial models for planning, forecasting, and analysis.

• Proven ability to improve finance processes and introduce practical efficiencies in reporting and operational workflows.

• Solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into workable finance solutions.

• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to support end users and transfer knowledge effectively.
