We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business analysis for a manufacturing environment in Aurora. This role will help translate financial and operational data into practical insights that support decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes while identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, variances, and opportunities that support business decisions.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, turning complex data into clear summaries for leadership and partner teams.

• Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and longer-range planning activities by gathering inputs and validating assumptions.

• Review financial performance against plan and provide commentary on key drivers affecting results.

• Apply data mining techniques to examine large data sets and uncover meaningful patterns that influence planning and performance.

• Partner with stakeholders across functions to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

• Support enhancements to financial processes, including reporting or system-related changes, to improve efficiency and control.

• Working towards CPA Designation.

• Proven experience in a senior financial analysis role, preferably within a manufacturing setting.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance review practices.

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and present findings in a clear, business-focused manner.

• Demonstrated skill in data analysis and data mining techniques for interpreting large or complex information sets.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review financial information accurately and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and leadership
