We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning and strategic decision-making for innovative product initiatives. This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited to a finance specialist who can translate complex data into practical recommendations, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting, performance analysis, and long-range planning while helping leadership evaluate risks, opportunities, and growth priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning activities by preparing budgets, forecasts, and longer-term outlooks that support business priorities and performance goals.
• Assess the financial effect of campaigns, incentives, and promotional initiatives, and work with internal partners to align spending with expected results.
• Work closely with accounting and operational stakeholders to improve monthly profit and loss accuracy and support effective cost oversight.
• Interpret financial results, identify emerging trends, and present clear insights to leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Partner with teams across the business to evaluate strategic opportunities, develop recommendations, and help guide product and growth decisions.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and business cases that improve forecast reliability and support ad hoc analysis.
• Enhance planning and reporting processes by identifying efficiencies, encouraging consistency, and supporting scalable financial practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators and highlight risks and opportunities that may affect financial and operational outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, strategic analysis, or a similar business-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to support business partners and contribute to cross-functional planning and analysis activities.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and solid working knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting fintech, digital products, or consumer-focused financial services environments is considered an asset.
