We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a telecom services organization for a 3-month Contract. This hybrid role is ideal for a finance specialist who can quickly assess current budget assumptions, rebuild forecasts with rigour, and partner effectively with operational leaders across the business. The successful candidate will bring structure to financial planning, provide thoughtful challenge to inputs, and help establish a clearer foundation for upcoming budgeting cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a full reforecast of the remaining fiscal period by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and consolidating a realistic financial outlook within tight timelines.

• Partner with leaders across sales and operations to understand spending needs, revenue drivers, and business risks.

• Review submitted figures critically, challenge unsupported estimates, and translate operational information into dependable financial projections.

• Build and refine budget models in Excel to improve clarity, usability, and consistency across planning activities.

• Support the preparation of materials for leadership discussions and board-level financial reviews through clear analysis and informal presentations.

• Help launch the next budgeting cycle by creating organized documentation, practical templates, and a repeatable planning approach.

• Analyze key planning variables such as customer growth, churn assumptions, operating expenses, and monthly billing trends to strengthen forecast accuracy.

• Identify areas for improvements and recommend more reliable processes for ongoing budgeting and forecasting.
