Our eastern Ontario manufacturing client requires a Senior Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract. This position will partner closely with sales and leadership teams to deliver actionable financial insights, support costing and quote activities, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

The Senior Financial Analyst’s duties will include:

·      Support the sales team with costing, quotes, sales analysis, and margin analysis

·      Prepare and generate monthly management reports

·      Develop monthly forecasts and reforecasts

·      Upload and manage financial data in OneStream

·      Perform revenue recognition analysis in compliance with US GAAP

·      Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making

·      Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights and recommendations that improve performance

The ideal candidate will have:

·      Post-secondary education in a relevant field, CPA designation or final stages a strong asset

·      Proven experience in a similar function

·      Knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition

·      Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset

·      Experience with Dynamics / D365 is a strong asset

·      Experience with Power BI and OneStream is a strong asset

·      Bilingualism is a strong asset

·      Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams
