How you will make an impact:




- The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing the financial statements, at the program level and the preparation of various financial reports.

- The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with senior management staff in the preparation of the funding proposal submissions, and mandatory reporting to the various funders.

- In collaboration with the Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst, will establish best practices, to ensure adherence to regulatory and guidelines.

- They will ensure month-end preparation is completed in an accurate and timely manner

- Perform variance analysis and assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information

- Create or revise reporting worksheets to improve accuracy and efficiency

- Develop ongoing material to assist in financial reporting.

- Prepare budget submissions for programs.

- Assist senior management with analysis on financial viability when opening new locations and with monitoring of subsequent performance.


Requirements:




- Professional designation such as CA, CMA, CGA, or enrolled in an advanced stage of completing the program or equivalent work experience

- Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience.

- Must be very detail oriented and have excellent analytical and financial analysis skills

- Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with staff.
