Responsibilities:
� Prepare monthly, quarterly, and other periodic financial reports in a timely manner while helping ensure the accuracy of supporting records.
� Review financial results, investigate variances, and provide analysis related to accounts, project costs, and overall business performance.
� Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling financial data, assessing trends, and supporting planning discussions.
� Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls, including reconciliations, inventory-related checks, and monitoring of purchasing commitments.
� Administer key elements of the general ledger and accounting systems, ensuring transactions are recorded properly and consistently.
� Assist with year-end audit requirements by preparing working papers, reconciliations, and other documentation requested by external auditors.
� Support compliance-related accounting activities and help ensure reporting practices align with established standards and policies.
� Provide guidance and informal training to entry-level accounting or administrative team members when needed.
� Create and refine performance tracking tools and reports that help leadership monitor operational and financial indicators.
