Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant on behalf of our client, a growing organization looking to add a detail-oriented accounting professional to its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, improving processes, and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances or discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with payroll accounting and other operational accounting functions as needed

• Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
