Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end and year-end accounting activities, including preparing accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations to support timely close processes.
• Complete detailed bank reconciliations, including higher-volume or more manual accounts, and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain fixed asset records by processing additions, calculating depreciation, and supporting the distinction between capital and operating expenditures.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting by compiling financial information, summarizing results, and contributing to variance analysis and reporting packages.
• Prepare and update audit support documentation and working papers to facilitate external and internal review requirements.
• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure financial data is recorded accurately within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Organize and maintain finance documentation and filing to support compliance, record retention, and efficient access to accounting information.
• Collaborate with accounting and cross-functional team members on daily financial operations and provide dependable support during peak reporting periods.
