We are looking for a Software Engineer (.NET) to join a collaborative development team in Toronto, Ontario. This role focuses on building and enhancing backend applications, contributing to high-quality software delivery, and working closely with cross-functional partners in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate brings strong programming expertise, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain .NET-based software components that support business and technical objectives.

• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective application features and backend services.

• Investigate defects, resolve technical issues, and improve overall application stability through timely troubleshooting and bug resolution.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide development updates, and contribute to iterative planning and delivery activities.

• Develop and optimize integrations, APIs, and supporting services to ensure dependable system performance and maintainability.

• Contribute to testing strategies, including experimentation and validation approaches such as A/B testing where appropriate.

• Use tools such as Jira to track work, manage development tasks, and maintain clear documentation of progress.

• Support ongoing enhancements to existing platforms and contribute to technical improvements as systems and processes evolve.

Qualifications ...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Nice to have ...

• Exposure to Java and Spring Framework development.
• Experience with AWS
