THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team on a 15-month contract. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a changing, fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex tax reporting, compliance, and risk-related initiatives. You'll play a key role in supporting global tax obligations, collaborating across departments, and helping the organization navigate evolving regulatory requirements while contributing to high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support global tax governance, risk, and compliance initiatives while identifying and mitigating potential tax exposures
• Manage U.S. and Canadian corporate tax reporting, compliance, and filing requirements
• Provide tax guidance related to donor transactions, fund transfers, withholding taxes, and related activities
• Support U.S. client billing processes and ensure appropriate tax treatment and compliance
• Partner with Finance, Treasury, and other internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and reporting requirements, assessing impacts to the business
• Maintain tax documentation and support internal and external audit activities
• Contribute to special projects and provide support across a variety of tax functions as needed

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CPA designation required
• 3+ years of progressive corporate tax preparation and tax provisioning experience
• Experience supporting both Canadian and U.S. corporate tax compliance requirements
• Strong background in tax provisioning and corporate tax reporting
• Hands-on experience with U.S. sales tax compliance
• Experience working with VAT (Value Added Tax) requirements
• Exposure to multinational or multi-jurisdictional tax environments
• Strong understanding of tax risk management and compliance frameworks
• Advanced analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using NetSuite is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
